How to Read CE Markings on Laser Safety Glasses | EN207 & EN208

Learn how to read CE markings on laser safety glasses, including wavelength ranges, LB ratings, operating modes, manufacturer markings, and EN207/EN208 certification information.

On all CE marked (certified eyewear) must include:

  • Wavelength-/area

  • Operating mode (D, I, R, or M)

  • Protection level (LB-value)

  • CE logo

  • Name/Logo of the Manufacturer

At Laser Safety Industries, all CE marked eyewear come marked with the appropriate markings (as well as with a labeled case, cleaning cloth, and head strap (when appropriate).
